Licence Terms

1. Free version and licence grant
TasmoShelf is free to use for up to three devices, with no other restriction. The full version removes this device limit and is a one-time purchase: a perpetual, personal, non-transferable right to use it. There is no subscription, and the right does not expire.
The unlock is bought per platform: on iOS as an in-app purchase tied to your Apple account, on Android as a licence key from this website, bound to the email address used at checkout. A key may be used on your own devices; it may not be shared, resold or transferred without our written consent.
Your purchase includes all updates within the same major version. A future major version may be offered as a separate, optional paid upgrade — upgrading is never required.
2. Purchase, payment and refunds
Website purchases are sold by Polar.sh as our Merchant of Record; Polar's terms govern payment, VAT and refunds. Purchases in the iOS app are sold and refunded by Apple under its terms.
3. Licence verification
Licence keys are verified on your device, offline. There is no activation server and no periodic online check. The app downloads a signed revocation list from our domain so that leaked or refunded keys can be withdrawn; a key that has been refunded or published may stop working. Circumventing the licence mechanism is not permitted.
4. Your responsibility for switched devices
TasmoShelf sends the commands you give to devices that switch real electrical loads. You remain responsible for what you connect and switch — in particular appliances whose interruption can cause damage, such as freezers, pumps, heaters or medical equipment. TasmoShelf is not a safety system and must not be relied on as one.
5. Warranty and liability
TasmoShelf is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation and are not liable for indirect or consequential damage. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. Mandatory statutory rights, including consumer rights, remain unaffected.
6. Third-party components
TasmoShelf is not affiliated with the Tasmota project. Device catalogue data comes from the community template repository and is used under the Eclipse Public License 2.0; the notice ships inside the app.
7. Applicable law
Swiss law applies; place of jurisdiction is Kreuzlingen, Thurgau, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise.
